Install Time: 2-3 Hours
Tools Needed: Microfiber rag, cleaning spray,
razor blade, heat gun or high heat blow dryer
-
Step 1: Prep the Surface
Wash and fully dry your vehicle.
Clean the area with an 80/20 mix of water/Isopropyl alcohol to remove all residue.
Ensure the surface is completely dry. -
Step 2: Plan Your Design
Don't just stick it on, plan it!
Use our guide or your own inspiration to create a design that's all your own. -
Step 3: Lay the Rounds
Peel, place one side on the vehicle, shape and firmly press in place.
If a wrinkle appears, lift the section and gently reposition. -
Step 4: Place the Lines
Begin placing lines from a vehicle edge.
Shape as desired and firmly press into place.
Trim any excess with a razor blade for a clean finish.
Note: Avoid stretching the vinyl as it will most likely pull up after install. -
Step 5: Lock It Down
Post-heat all vinyl using a heat gun or a very hot blow dryer.
Focus on the edges to ensure a permanent bond.
After install, let the vinyl cure by parking in the sun for a few hours. Wait at least 3-5 days before washing or off-roading to ensure a perfect bond. When it's time to clean, always handwash your rig and avoid using an automatic car wash.
